Although no specific release date has been announced, the game is slated to launch sometime in 2024, exclusively in Japan. Based upon the beloved 5-toubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) manga series by Negi Haruba, which has since been adapted into no less than three individual seasons and a feature length movie.
This game serves as a sequel to an earlier installment, “The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story,” which covered the first year of the “Gotopazu” mobile games contents and launched on the same platforms on June 29th, 2023.
The “Gotopazu Story” series is an homage-filled visual novel game adapted from the mobile game “The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Quintuplets Can’t Divide the Puzzle” where unfortunately the puzzle element has been shelved for these console releases.
Centered on the extraction and appreciation of story elements, the “The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story” series invites players to relive cherished memories.
With the unveiling of “The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story 2nd,” players can now delve into the “Main Story,” which faithfully recreates the plotline of the anime’s second season, along with 23 “Event Stories” featuring card illustrations from the second year of the mobile game.
